Kai Zimmermann from Bosch Software Innovations GmbH introduced us to one of the latest contributions to the Eclipse Foundation: Project hawkBit
According to the claim "Don't connect it, if you can't update it" Kai and his team developed an ready-to-run software update server which aims on safety and reliability which is independent from application domains and focusses on large scale roll-outs in the Internet of Things. The project's proposal has already been approved and is prepared for publishing.
